Welcome to Mercy Movers Inc., a nonprofit provider of moving services, in the greater Washington, DC region specializing in assisting families and individuals transition from shelters into their new homes.
Mercy Movers is aware that moving is a big responsibility. This responsibility becomes harder when the cause of you relocation is lack of funding and/or other resources. Mercy Movers clients rely on our experience and knowledge to ease the strain of relocating. We are privately owned, and therefore able to provide our customers with the personalized relocation services each deserves. Our goal is to make your transition into your new home efficient and stress free.
Before the establishment of Mercy Movers, free moving services were not available to assist moving formally homeless families from shelters into their new homes. A clients are without a home of their own and are considered to be living below the state poverty level. Most of whom are referred by homeless shelters and service providers.
